Every con is a few thousand people who already share your niche — and you get a weekend to find the ones worth knowing. Location-based apps waste that. They show you whoever's nearby, not whoever's in the same hall lining up for the same panel.

So we flipped the axis. On Con Carne you pick the convention, pick what you're actually there for, and match with people at that same event looking for the same thing.

Not everyone's there for the same reason, so we don't pretend otherwise. Beers with new friends, a genuine date, an afterparty crew, a cosplay collaborator, or just a roommate to split the hotel — you say what you want, and we only surface people whose intent lines up with yours.

Optional photo verification gives you a verified badge, so you know a match is who they say they are. Reporting and blocking are one tap away, and a moderation team reviews what gets flagged.
